Bates College Catalog - In addition to course and faculty listings, the Bates College Catalog lists information on general education, transfer credit, financial policies, admission policies, academic calendar and general information on academics. The majority of this information is at the front of the Catalog (calendar is at the back) and there is an index. Information on major requirements and specific information about the use of courses to fulfill general education requirements is found in the introductory pages for each department. Teaching faculty, chairpersons, and faculty on leave for the year are also listed here. 

Student handbook - The Student handbook is published by the Dean of Students office as a reference for students and contains information on College Governance, the Administration, Social and Residential Life, Resources and Services, as well as the Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Processes.

Faculty handbook - The Faculty handbook is published by the Dean of Faculty's office as a reference for faculty and contains information on faculty structure, governance, and policies pertaining to students and academics.
