KATE GRIFFIN is a rising Republican Star, one of the few female state Republican Party Chairmen in the country. Ms. Griffin is chairman of the Virginia Republican Party, one of the nation’s strongest state parties. She will speak on women’s issues and her life experiences to bring a non-traditional perspective on Women’s History Month to Bates. Wednesday, April 5 at 7:30 pm in Chase Lounge. REMINDER TO STUDENTS REGARDING FINAL EXAMINATIONS: Scheduled final examinations for Winter 2006 courses begin Thursday, April 6th and end Tuesday, April 11th.  (There are no scheduled examinations on Saturday or Sunday). Most final examinations are scheduled in the room in which the course met during the semester. The days and times of scheduled exams are listed along with the courses in the Winter 2006 schedule found on the Garnet Gateway login page under the "Course Information" link: http://abacus.bates.edu/garnet-gateway/  To view a list of those multiple section courses whose final examinations are scheduled together, and which may or may not be in the room where the course met during the semester, click on the "Winter 2006 Final Examination Information" link found on the Garnet Gateway login page under the "Course Information" link: http://abacus.bates.edu/garnet-gateway/

Want a PARKING PERMIT? If so, please log into the Garnet Gateway, and register. (The application is under the Housing menu of the Student Menu tab). Registration closes at 11:59 pm this Friday. Contact Bill Jack with any questions. All JA’s and RC’s will be granted permit upon request and therefore do not need to register.

GRASS FIELDS: looking for an area to enjoy the warm sunshine?  Please use the following areas on campus:  Page field, Rand field, Bardwell Field, and the Bill field.  These areas are available for general student use during the rest of Winter Semester.  Please wear sneakers - NO CLEATS!   The baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields are NOT in condition to be used at this time.  Thank you for your cooperation!
