THE GREG WATERS BAND: Take a break from finals and come see the band Rolling Stones called “a complete disaster, except for the sensual drumming of Peter Strumolo.” We’re also celebrating our album’s release Get ‘R Dun. CD’s will be $5. In the Little Room this Saturday at 10 pm.
MORGAN’S 5K RUN/WALK. Named for the late Morgan McDuffee ’02, this annual event benefits Morgan’s Fund for Violence Prevention. Race begins at 1 pm. Registration $15. There will be a PALM SUNDAY SERVICE in the Chapel at 5:30 PM. This is the first event of the Christian Holy Week which culminates on Easter Sunday. All are welcome!
REMINDER TO STUDENTS REGARDING FINAL EXAMINATIONS: Scheduled final examinations for Winter 2006 courses begin Thursday, April 6th and end Tuesday, April 11th. (There are no scheduled examinations on Saturday or Sunday). Most final examinations are scheduled in the room in which the course met during the semester. KEYS; If you will not be returning for Short Term, please return all keys borrowed from the College before you leave. Access Control Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Keys may be returned after hours through the mail slot in the door. The office is located across from the Bookstore. The charge for keys returned late (after April 14th for students not on campus for short term) will be $25 per key. If a key is not returned or returned after the room has been rekeyed, the charge is $75 for the key and a $25 late fee.
STUDENT CARS OVER BREAK: Students who wish to leave their cars over break need to notify Security and park their vehicles in the Merrill Lot in the spaces adjacent to the new track and soccer field.
FROM THE POST OFFICE: If you are not going to be here for Short Term and would like your mail forwarded to you over the summer, please stop by the post office and fill out a change of address form. Please do this before you leave or else your mail will be returned to sender.
GRASS FIELDS: looking for an area to enjoy the warm sunshine? Please use the following areas on campus: Page field, Rand field, Bardwell Field, and the Bill field. These areas are available for general student use during the rest of Winter Semester. Please wear sneakers - NO CLEATS! The baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields are NOT in condition to be used at this time. Thank you for your cooperation! |

6:00 pm COLLEGE SHUTTLE - The shuttle runs on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 pm - 12 am, and Sunday from 12 pm - 6 pm. The shuttle runs to Auburn locations at the beginning of each hour, and runs to Lewiston locations on the half hour.

Students, student organizations, administrative or faculty offices who wish to submit a blurb to appear in the Bates Daily should fill out a request form in the Student Activities Office in Chase Hall by 4:00 p.m. the day before the date you want it to appear or 4:00 p.m. Friday for Saturday and Sunday editions. Blurbs for one event may only run in three editions. The CSA Office reserves complete editorial control over all submissions to the Bates Daily.
