Wednesday March 15, 7:00 p.m., Muskie Archives.  Hope for the Perilous Journey Ahead: Engaging the Volatile Mix of Religion and Politics in Christianity, Judaism and Islam.  Charles Kimball, Professor of Religion at Wake Forest University will deliver the 2005-2006 BERTHA MAY BELL ANDREWS LECTURE in Ethics and Education.  An expert analyst on the Middle East and on world religions in a comparative context, Professor Kimball will explore the intersection of religion and politics in the United States

You are invited to join the, BATES COLLEGE INVESTMENT CLUB - (Every Wednesday) at 7:30 pm.  The BCIC is open to all Bates students, faculty and staff. Members will:  Help manage a REAL investment portfolio (REAL MONEY!) to support financial aid at Bates. Learn the principles of financial analysis and valuation. Room G65, Pettengill Hall.  The BCIC will be meeting on most Wednesdays this semester to study the principles of financial analysis and valuation.
