This event takes place on Today, March 3 in the Keck Classroom at 6:30. (www.emmiettillstory.com)

This weekend the FILMBOARD is showing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  The fourth installment of the franchise, which has received overwhelmingly positive reviews critically, follows another year in the life of the boy wizard, focusing upon Harry’s mysterious entry into the Triwizard Tournament.  As always, admission is only $1.  Friday & Saturday, 7:00 & 9:30, Sunday, 2:00 & 4:30.  (Due to the film’s lengthy running time, shows will begin promptly at their respective show times.)

This Saturday the Student Activities Office will be sending out the last of our three bus trips to SUGARLOAF/USA.  The bus will depart from in front of Chase Hall at 7 am, and will head back to Bates when the lifts close.  We are offering reduced price lift tickets, rental packages, and even learn-to-ski or snowboard packages.  The prices are $36 for a lift ticket, $26 for ski or snowboard rentals, and only $59 for the learn to programs.  The learn to program includes a learning area lift ticket, rentals and the clinic. Sugarloaf has been getting some great snow of late, and the weather on Saturday is supposed to be warmer than now, so take advantage of these great prices and head up to Sugarloaf for a great day of skiing!
