Bates offers numerous distinctive programs, including service-learning, extensive student research opportunities, and an honors program. In 2001, the College underwent a thorough self-study as part of our regular ten-year reaccreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Bates was reaccredited until 2010.
