2012 Bates Summer Scholars Program: Financial Arrangements

A Full Scholarship and More

Significant financial support is available for Bates Summer Scholars, with all program costs covered plus a fellowship. Students selected to participate in the program receive $2,400. Tuition, books, room, board, and activity fees are provided by the college. Funds are also available for support of travel expenses to and from the program. Summer Scholars who live beyond driving distance to Bates may have their flight arrangement made by the College. Students should plan to bring summer spending money to cover modest expenses.
