Students and Community

The College is nationally known for the caliber of its community engagement programs. There are countless opportunities to get involved–through classes or as a volunteer–in our community of Lewiston-Auburn. You can even undertake community-based research in your hometown or around the world.

The Harward Center for Community Partnerships is the campus clearinghouse for community-based work.  Whether you are interested in academically-based service, volunteer work, or leadership positions, the staff at the Harward Center can help you refine your interests, learn about our community, and make the connections you need to get involved. The Harward Center also offers some funding for the academic year or the summer through support for projects and paid positions.
