Wind Down Wednesdays

In the Fall of 2009, the Student Activities Office began a program we like to call ‘ Wind Down Wednesdays’. The overall goal of the program was to encourage the use of alternative programming spaces on campus.  Due to the success of the program last year, we will be continuing to offer this incentive to campus organizations in the Fall of 2014.

The SAO will reimburse up to $150 towards an event held in The Little Room (located on the ground floor of Chase Hall) or The Underground (the basement of the 280 College Street Residence) on a given Wednesday evening.

The Student Activities Office will be sponsoring approximately one event a month. The other dates will be financially supported by the Student Activities Office and will be run by the organization listed below:

Does your group want to host a WDW event?  Submit the following request:

WDW Event Request Form

  • Bates email only
  • What will be taking place?
  • (i.e. equipment, games, etc.)
  • Please explain how you would like to use the funds available (the Student Activities Office will reimburse UP TO $150)
    Please note - the group is responsible for completing the blueslip form and acquiring alcohol prior to event. You must meet with the Coordinator of Student Activities for approval.
    Date availability is first-come, first-serve.
