The two trips to Sugarloaf will have a limited number of spots for those already holding ski passes, but the rest will be for those buying passes. We are happy to offer reduced price passes for these two trips only – $45 lift tickets, $26 ski or snowboard rentals, $25 90 minute clinic, $62 learn to ski or snowboard (includes rentals, lessons, and learning area lift ticket), $30 Outdoor Adventure combo – rentals, trails, and ice time for skating, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing.
Trips to Freeport, the Maine Mall, Sugarloaf, and the Old Port will all be free. All buses are open to all members of the Bates Community. Return time is the time that the bus will depart from the destination. You may sign up on the Monday of the week of each trip in the Student Activities Office in Chase Hall. Space is limited on all of these trips so please sign up in advance.
This year the Student Activities Office has made arrangements for BreakShuttle.com to offer transportation to the Portland Jetport, Boston, Hartford, and New York City for many of the college’s breaks. More information and a link will follow. We have made this transition to allow for more options and additional trips to what we were able to offer previously. Pricing information will follow once it has been determined.
