2008: Named to the UCSCA All-Academic Team, for achieving a First Semester grade point average of 3.50 or above while competing for Bates at the Regional Championships…. At the Dartmouth Winter Carnival, placed 35th in the giant slalom and tied teammate Ben Manter for 19th place out of 59 competitors in the men’s slalom, with a two-run combined time of 1:37.76…. At the Middlebury Winter Carnival and the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships, Menard came in 31st in the giant slalom and led the Bates men’s alpine team to seventh place in the slalom, finishing tied for 10th place with New Hampshire’s William Ford out of 72 competitors on the day, with a two-run combined time of 1:32.54.
2007: Competed at the NCAA Skiing Championships for the second straight year…. Finished in 26th place in men’s slalom at 1:48.96, and in 22nd place in giant slalom with a two-run combined time of 2:25.70.
2006: Competed in the giant slalom (20th out of 35 competitors, finishing with a two-run time of 2:19.07) and the slalom (33rd) at the NCAA Skiing Championships; the team finished ninth overall.
