2009

2009: Became the first Bates woman alpine skier to qualify for the NCAA Championships in four years…. Final ranking of 19th on the EISA circuit…. Her top performance of the season came at the Eastern Championships at Colby, when she finished eighth out of 56 competitors in the slalom.

2008: Led three Bates women with a 19th-place finish in the slaloms with a two-run combined time of 1:33.11at the NCAA Skiing Championships at Montana State University; also finished 26th in the giant slalom with a time of 1:53.24.

2007: At NCAA Championships, Thompson placed 16th out of 35 competitors in the giant slalom with a two-run combined time of 1:50.89.

2006: Competed in the giant slalom at NCAAs, taking 24th place (2:28.63); the giant slalom put Bates in sixth place overall in the early part of NCAAs, the  best women’s alpine finish Bates has ever had ….Thompson also placed 33rd in the NCAAs slalom.
