Alumni Gymnasium is home to the Bates basketball and volleyball teams. The NCAA has rated Alumni Gymnasium as one of the toughest gyms in the nation for opponents to play in, thanks in large part to its intimate atmosphere and bleachers within a few feet of the court. The building also houses several offices for the physical education faculty and coaches.
