Sandra Lopez Burke, has a wealth of experience building public-private partnerships that have successfully helped youth reach their full potential in both the sports and academic sectors. Prior to moving to the Boston area, the native Texan worked for the San Antonio Sports Foundation, where she managed national sporting events and helped establish Dreams for Youth, a program aimed at introducing San Antonio’s disadvantaged youth to Olympic sports. She culminated her decade of service in Texas as the Executive Director of the NCAA Men’s Final Four. In 1998, Sandra relocated to Massachusetts and joined Mayor Menino’s millennial celebration committee as the Vice President of Boston 2000. After the turn of the millennium, Sandra joined City Year, Inc. as the Director of Individual Giving. She subsequently served four years as Vice President and Chief of Staff to the CEO and in 2007, was named Vice President and Executive Director of the organization’s founding site, City Year Boston. In addition to her role at City Year, Sandra is on the board of Dana Hall School in Wellesley. She lives in Dedham and is the mother of four children, two of whom are proud City Year alumnae and one of whom is a U.S. Army veteran.

Jessica Igoe ’11, leads United Way’s engagement strategy within the private equity and venture capital (PE/VC) industry, supervising approx. $2.3M in annual revenue derived from a major gifts portfolio, corporate support, and signature events. Additionally, Jessie leads the strategy and execution of key impact programs including the DRIVE Initiative, a proof-of-concept focused on early childhood data, and the nation’s first Pay-for-Success Initiative targeting chronic homelessness.

Prior to joining United Way, Jessie worked in the Anti-Trust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. She received her B.A. in Economics from Bates College, where she played basketball and worked at the Harward Center for Community Partnerships.

Julia Sleeper ’08, is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Tree Street Youth Center. Born and raised in Bangor area, she initially moved to Lewiston as an undergraduate at Bates College. During her time as a student, she began connecting to the Downtown Lewiston community youth through service learning opportunities afforded to her as a Psychology and Education major. Over the past 10 years, Julia has continued to build on the relationships formed as an undergrad, seeking to provide valuable programming to at-risk youth in Lewiston-Auburn. After completing her Masters in Leadership and Organizational Studies at USM-LAC, she began the present-day Tree Street Youth Center.

Reed Chisholm P’13, P’17, is a Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs. His Boston-based team has a combined 80+ years of industry experience and specializes in advising high net worth families, foundations and tax exempt organizations on investment strategy, asset allocation and risk management.  In addition to his work at Goldman Sachs, Reed is Chairman of City Year’s Seven Generations Board and sits on the Boston President’s Council at Providence College. Reed served as a past Trustee and is now an Overseer for the New England Aquarium. He also serves as a trustee for the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Reed sat on the Board of Trustees at Dana Hall, an all girl’s school in Wellesley, Massachusetts, from 2006 to 2015, where he was the Finance Committee Chair.  He is also a former co-chair of the Bates College Parents Fund. Reed earned his Bachelor of Science in business from Providence College.
