Two out of three low-income children have no books of their own. Bernie’s Book Bank, Chicago’s largest provider of quality children’s books, is changing that with one of this city’s largest literacy programs. Volunteers will help sort and pack books for distribution to at-risk youth. Families and children of all ages are welcome to participate.
