Terence O’Connell named NESCAC Player of the Week

HADLEY, Mass. — Bates senior forward Terence O’Connell (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) was named the NESCAC Player of the Week for Sept. 26, 2005.
O’Connell tallied two goals and added an assist in a 2-0 week for Bates against NESCAC foes.
On Saturday O’Connell netted the decisive goal in double overtime against Connecticut College, scoring on a direct kick in the 107th minute of play for a 2-1 Bobcat win.
O’Connell followed the feat on Sunday with a goal and an assist in Bates’ 4-1 victory over Trinity.
Through the two contests, O’Connell took a total of nine shots.
