No. 10 Cornell wins decisively against No. 9 Bates women’s squash

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Bates College women’s squash team, ranked ninth nationally, suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday at Harvard University, a 7-2 decision against No. 10 Cornell University.

Scoring wins for the Bobcats (2-1) were Margot Webel (Locust Valley, N.Y.) at No. 8 and sophomore Jenny Imrich (Cambridge, Mass.) at No. 9.

The Bates women play host to Williams College on Jan. 8.
