No. 7 Cornell men deal No. 12 Bobcats their first loss

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 7 nationally ranked Cornell University men’s squash team handed the No. 12 Bates College men their first loss of the season on Saturday, 7-2 at Harvard University.

The highlight for the Bobcats came as Bates’ No. 1 player, All-American Ricky Weisskopf, who is ranked No. 14 nationally in intercollegiate squash in the individual rankings, had no problem defeating the Cornell No. 1, Canadian Matt Serediak.  Weisskopf moves to 3-0 on the season with wins in the top spot against MIT, Wesleyan and Cornell.

Bates plays host to Williams on Jan. 8.
