No. 10 women’s squash team edged by No. 8 Williams in home opener
LEWISTON, Maine — The Bates College women’s squash team, ranked 10th in the most recent College Squash Association ratings, lost its home opener on Sunday to No. 8 Williams College by a 5-4 score.
Winning matches for Bates (2-2) were junior Kelsey Engman (Haverford, Pa.) at the No. 2 position; senior Liza Roberts (Andover, Mass.) at No. 5; first-year Margot Webel (Locust Valley, N.Y.) at No. 8; and sophomore Jenny Imrich (Cambridge, Mass.) at No. 9.
The Bobcats play host to Amherst College on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
