Outlook: The Bates College women’s basketball team attempts to shake off the disappointment of its last game, a non-league loss at rival Bowdoin on Tuesday, with the first home game the Bobcats have played in six contests. The key to that game was rebounding: despite the tandem of Meg Coffin (10.5 rpg) and Matia Kostakis (7.5), Bates was outboarded by Bowdoin 42-33.
Bates finishes up its regular season with three straight home games, and is in position to host a NESCAC first-round playoff game, as well. Depending on Friday night’s scores, a win today might secure that goal.
