Bates men’s squash team sweeps St. Lawrence to go 3-1 on weekend
LEWISTON, Maine – The Bates men’s squash team completed a 3-1 home weekend with a 9-0 defeat of St. Lawrence University on Sunday.
The Bobcats (11-7) had 3-0 sweeps at positions 1, 3, 4, 6 and 9, as sophomore All-American Ricky Weisskopf (San Salvador, El Salvador) raised his individual record at the No. 1 position to 16-1.
Bates hosts a rematch against in-state rival Bowdoin College Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Bobcats outlasted the Polar Bears last week at Bowdoin in an epic 5-4 decision.
