Olympic skier Justin Freeman ’98 places 53rd overall in 15K Classical
U.S. Olympic cross country skier Justin Freeman ’98 finished 53rd out of 97 competitors in a time of 42:00.9 in the 15 km. classical Friday morning in Pragelato, Italy.
In his first Olympic race, Freeman was the fourth American finisher; his younger brother Kris was the top American, placing 22nd overall in 39:57.4. U.S. teammates Lars Flora and Andrew Johnson were just ahead of Justin Freeman in 51st and 52nd place, respectively.

Coming races for the U.S. team are the 4 x 10 km. relay on Feb. 19, the sprint on Feb. 22, and the 50 km. freestyle on Feb. 26.
