Men’s tennis drops two in Texas

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Bates College men’s tennis team started its spring season with a swing into Texas, where the Bobcats lost to Trinity University 6-1 on Feb. 21 and to Division II University of the Incarnate Word 6-3 on Feb. 23.

Winning for Bates against Trinity was Greg Little, beating Oliver Gaines in third singles 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.

Bates All-American senior scored a singles win against UIW’s Chase Holliday, 6-1, 6-2 at first singles, and he teamed up with Tristan Beach at first doubles to win 8-4.
