Kelsey Lamdin poised to dive into nationals in Minnesota

LEWISTON, Maine — First-year diver Kelsey Lamdin will represent Bates College at the 25th annual NCAA Division women’s swimming and diving championships.
Hosted by Carleton College, the meet will be held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis from March 9-11.
Lamdin, a native of Brunswick, Maine, has filled in nicely where graduated All-American diver Kara Seaton ’05 has left off. She earned All-NESCAC honors at the conference championship two weeks ago at Bowdoin College in both the 1-meter springboard and 3-meter platform competitions, and will be one of 22 divers in both events at nationals.
