Nineteen Bates student-athletes are NESCAC All-Academic selections

HADLEY, Mass. — Nineteen student-athletes from Bates College qualified as New England Small College Athletic Conference Winter All-Academic selections, the conference announced on Wednesday.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior who has earned a varsity letter and owns a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or above on a 4.00 scale.

Repeat awardees from the 2004-05 winter season include seniors Joel Colony, Fisher Qua, Matt Harrington, Cynthia Mauer, Ashley Wentworth and Annie Whiting.
