Godsey named New England Indoor Field Athlete of the Year

LEWISTON, Maine — The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced that senior Keelin Godsey of Bates College is the NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Year for the New England Region.
Godsey won the shot put and 20-pound weight events at the State of Maine, New England Division III, and Open New England Championships. His 65-9½ best in the weight throw is second on the national Division III list.
USTFCCCA coaches voted in the respective Division I, Division II and Division III categories. National winners will be announced next week.
Godsey is currently preparing for the NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships, at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
