Brandeis tops Bates women’s tennis team, 6-3

LEWISTON, Maine — The Bates women’s tennis team lost 6-3 to Brandeis University Saturday at the Wallach Tennis Center.

Bates got its points with singles victories by first-year Caryn Benisch (Huntington, N.Y.), junior Laura Harris (Mercer Island, Wash.) and sophomore Mallika Raghavan (Chappaqua, N.Y.).

The Bates women (3-4) play at Mount Holyoke College on April 13.
