Men’s tennis team topped at Bowdoin, 4-3

BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Bowdoin College men’s tennis team dropped rival Bates on Saturday afternoon, 4-3. The Polar Bears improve to 5-5 against Division III opponents (5-9 overall), while Bates drops to 6-6 on the season, 6-4 against Division III teams.

Noah Buntman clinched the win for Bowdoin in the sixth singles position, rallying from a 5-2 deficit in a 6-1, 7-5 victory.

Bates won all three doubles matches for the one doubles point. Senior All-American Will Boe-Wiegaard (Georgetown, Conn.) won at first singles and first-year Mike Sherman (Huntington, N.Y.) won at fourth singles.
