Bates women’s novice eight a winner in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Bates College women’s novice eight defeated Trinity College Saturday at a regatta that also included Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the University of New Hampshire and Williams College.

The women’s novice eight rowed the 2000-meter course in 7:21.5, beating the Bantams by over 16 seconds.
