Godsey won the hammer throw in 67.28 meters, or 204 feet and 5 inches, breaking his own meet record from 2005.
Nugent (Buxton, Maine) finished second in the heptathlon with 4,129 points, breaking the school record she set two weeks ago by 101 points. Nugent’s performance earned eight points for the Bobcats at the meet and qualified her provisionally to compete at the NCAA Championships.
