Bates’ Chandler named to All-NESCAC field hockey team

HADLEY, Mass. — Junior forward Erin Chandler was named to the All-NESCAC Second Team in field hockey, the conference announced on Wednesday.
With four goals and three assists (11 points), Chandler (Thornton, Pa.) was the points leader for Bates, a team whose scoring distribution was quite spread out. Chandler tallied all four of her goals on the season in NESCAC contests, including a two-goal, one-assist performance in the Bobcats’ 3-2 overtime win over Colby on Oct. 28. Her excellent left-side skills heldped generate much of Bates’ attack from that side.
