Women’s squash dominates Northeastern, 9-0

LEWISTON, Maine — The No. 9 nationally ranked Bates women’s squash team had no trouble defeating Northeastern University on Friday night at the Bates Squash Center by a 9-0 score.
An undermanned Huskies team, with only seven players, forfeitied at positions 8 and 9, but won only two points at the other seven spots, in Bates first-year Whitney Roller’s (Haverford, Pa.) 9-1, 9-0, 9-1 win.
Bates plays host to Connecticut College (12 p.m.) and St. Lawrence (7 p.m.) on Saturday, and hosts Stanford University on Sunday at 10:15 a.m.
