Men’s squash team’s win streak ends at four

AMHERST, Mass. — The No. 9 nationally ranked Bates men’s squash team dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 11 Amherst College on Sunday, a week after defeating the Lord Jeffs by the same score in the third-place match of the NESCAC Championships.
Junior two-time All-American Ricky Weisskopf (San Salvador, El Salvador) won at the top spot for Bates without allowing a single point. Also winning their matches for the Bobcats (18-6) were first-years Kush Mahan (Gainesville, Fla.) and Jordan Greenberg (Malvern, Pa.) at the fourth and fifth positions.
Bates plays its final regular-season match on Tuesday against Tufts, at the Belmont Hill School at 6:45 p.m.
