Men’s squash wraps up regular season with 8-1 win at Tufts

BELMONT, Mass. — In its first match in nine days, the Bates College men’s squash team recorded an 8-1 victory against Tufts University Tuesday at the Belmont Hill School. The Bobcats, ranked No. 9 by the College Squash Association, finish the regular season with a 19-6 record, matching the highest win total by a Bates squash team, a mark set by the women’s team this past weekend.
Bates will play at the CSA Men’s Team Championships this weekend at Yale University as the ninth seed and the top seed in the Hoehn bracket. The Bobcats will face the No. 16 seed University of Rochester in the first round of the tournament on Friday at a time to be determined.
