Ellefson earns prestigious All-East honors from EISA

LEWISTON, Maine — Bates College sophomore Sylvan Ellefson earned Second Team All-East honors from the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association, based on his season-long accomplishments.

Ellefson (Vail, Colo.) earned the sixth overall ranking, narrowly missing the cutoff for making First Team All-East behind three skiers from Dartmouth College and two from the University of Vermont. The top 10 skiers in the EISA get All-East laurels. Ellefson is the first Bates skier to earn All-East honors since Justin Easter ’03.

Ellefson will represent Bates at the NCAA Skiing Championships for the second straight year, March 7-10 at Jackson, N.H.
