Greenwood wins NESCAC Co-Player of the Week honors

HADLEY, Mass. — Bates College sophomore Rachel Greenwood was named NESCAC Co-Player of the Week in women’s lacrosse, the conference announced on Monday.
Greenwood, a midfielder from Williamstown, Mass., scored a team-high four goals, including three in the final 10 minutes as Bates came back from an 11-9 deficit to win at No. 9 Union College 15-12 on Sunday.
Greenwood shares the honor with Trinity goalkeeper Michelle Smith. It is her first NESCAC award.
Through two games, Greenwood ranks second on the Bobcats (2-0) in points (7) and goals (6).
