The Bates College men’s soccer team touched down in Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday August 10 for a ten-day excursion to Scotland, northwest England and southern England.
In what has become an every-three-years tradition for the team, the Bobcats are using the trip they’ve dubbed “UK2K7″ to train for the upcoming season, to play against top-notch competition from Scottish and English club teams and to take in some local culture.
Nathan Kellogg ’09 (Natick, Mass.) and team co-captain Brent Morin ’08 (Hanover, N.H.) are contributing to a blog they’ve set up as a place to view pictures and keep up with the team’s games and other activities. View the “Bates Soccer UK Tour 2007″ blog by clicking here.
