HADLEY, Mass. — Bates College senior co-captains Ricky Weisskopf and Sean Wilkinson were each named to the first-ever, 10-player NESCAC Men’s Squash All-Conference Team, the New England Small College Athletic Conference announced on Friday.

Weisskopf (San Salvador, El Salvador) amassed a 15-3 record while playing against each opponent’s No. 1 player for the fourth consecutive year. The three-time All-American was last weekend awarded the Skillman Award, the highest honor in college squash, given to the most complete male player. Two of his losses were later avenged in rematches with the same opponents during College Squash Association Team Nationals.

Wilkinson (London, England) recorded a 10-5 individual record at the No. 2 spot for Bates, and earned the No. 34 ranking in the country when the last CSA player rankings were released Jan. 15. Wilkinson has been a team co-captain for three years

Both players have played significant roles in helping to guide and teach Bates men’s and women’s squash teams in a transitional year for Bates, which is led by interim coaches Marc Kannegieser and Wynn Hohlt.

Both players will join other teammates to be determined to play at the CSA Individual Nationals, to be held next weekend at the U.S. Naval Academy.
