Rain prompts schedule shuffle at Tufts for Saturday
The Bates College field hockey and men’s and women’s soccer teams are playing an adjusted schedule tomorrow (Saturday) at Tufts University, in order that all three contests can be played on the artificial turf at Tufts’ Bello Field in the expected rainy weather.
- The Bates-Tufts field hockey game will start at 12 p.m.
- The Bates-Tufts women’s soccer game will start at 2:30 p.m.
- The Bates-Tufts men’s soccer game will start at 5 p.m.
The Bates-Tufts football game is still slated to start at 1 p.m. at Ellis Oval/Zimman Field in Somerville, Mass.
Other Bates teams in action this weekend include the volleyball team at the MIT Invitational on Friday and Saturday; men’s and women’s tennis at the ITA Championships at Williams and MIT, respectively, Friday through Sunday; golf at the NESCAC Men’s Championships at Middlebury on Saturday and Sunday; and men’s and women’s cross country at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.
