BOSTON — The Bates College men’s squash team won without dropping a single set for the second time in as many days on Saturday afternoon, defeating Vanderbilt University 9-0 at Northeastern University.
The Bobcats (2-0) sat their top two players from Friday’s 9-0 defeat of Northeastern in junior Kush Mahan (Gainesville, Fla.) and Will Katz (Bronxville, N.Y.). Junior Jordan Greenberg (Malvern, Pa.) swept Henry Manice at the No. 1 spot, while sophomores Matt Marchisotto (New York, N.Y.) and Nick Echeverria (Washington, D.C.) did the same at the second and third positions, respectively.
Bates has a long break in the season now, and will resume playing on Jan. 9 with a match against Cornell at Yale.
