NEW HAVEN, Conn. — On Sunday the Bates College women’s squash program overwhelmed their NESCAC foe Connecticut College Camels at Yale 9-0.
Senior Sarah Blomstedt (Gill, Mass.), sophomore Anna Hogeland (Williamstown, Mass.) and sophomore Stephanie Cabot (Dover, Mass.) all defeated their opponents 3-0 and 27-0 in game scores at the Nos. 4, 7 and 8 positions, respectively.
The win brings the No. 14-ranked Bobcats’ season record to 5-6, with a huge home showdown versus in-state rival and No. 12 Bowdoin coming up on Tuesday at the Bates Squash Facility at 6 p.m.
