King selected to play in New England All-Star men’s soccer game
Four-year starting back Patrick King ’10 was named to the NEISL Division III All-Star Game.
LEWISTON, Maine — Bates College senior Patrick King has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League’s Division III All-Star Game. The game will be played at Clark University in Worcester, Mass., on Saturday, May 1 at 2 p.m.
King (Gorham, Maine) is one of 26 players picked to play in the game, and one of nine players listed at midfielder.
King was one of two team captains for the 2009 season, along with senior Jonathan Lobozzo. Though he missed significant action in both his junior and senior years, the four-year starting back played in 47 games, starting 44 of them, and collected five goals and four assists over that time.
Recent other selectees to the NEISL All-Star Game from Bates include Terence O’Connell ’05, David Shear ’05 and Brent Morin ’08.
