Dunn, Pals pace women’s golf at Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Bates College women’s golf team placed two players among the top three in a season-opening match against Bowdoin with Saint Anselm at Brunswick Golf Club.
Host Bowdoin scored a 10-stroke dual-match victory over Bates, paced by medalist Chelsea Gross’s 84. But Bates junior Brigid Dunn (Milford, Ohio) was close behind with an 86, and junior Tessa Pals’ (Wilmette, Ill.) 96 was good for third place overall.
