Lindauer shines in the 400 at BU’s Terrier Invitational

BOSTON — Bates senior Dana Lindauer represented the Bates women’s track and field team on Friday at the Terrier Invitational at Boston University, and returned home with the fourth-fastest 400-meter race run in team history.
Lindauer (Needham, Mass.) finished the event on BU’s banked track in a time of 59.12 seconds, her personal best time, good for 14th place among 57 athletes from teams in every division.
Lindauer is a team captain and a 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District women’s track & field/cross country team selection.
Bates’ full team competes on Saturday at the USM Invitational in Gorham, Maine.
