Beth Taylor followed up Friday’s sixth-place finish in the 10K Freestyle by claiming 12th place out of 92 competitors in Saturday’s 10K Classic at the Bates Carnival, leading the Bobcat women to another strong day.

Women’s squash dominates Colby, 9-0

The No. 9 Bates women’s squash team easily defeated NESCAC rival No. 22 Colby 9-0 at a home match Wednesday night. The Bobcats swept the Mules with a perfect nine straight 3-0 games. The Bates women’s squash team last lost to Colby on Feb. 7, 2001.

Women’s squash rings up first-ever win vs. Williams, 7-2

The No. 10 nationally ranked Bates women’s squash team rang up its first victory ever over rival and ninth-ranked Williams on Sunday at the Bates Squash Center, and they did it with relative ease, winning 7-2. With the teams’ matches dating back to 1986, the Bobcats now stand 1-23 all-time against the Ephs.
