NCAA-bound tennis players featured in Maine newscast

LEWISTON, Maine — Maine CBS affiliate WGME-TV aired a segment in Saturday’s newscast about the Bates tennis players headed to the NCAA Division III Singles and Doubles Championships later this month in Cary, N.C.
The story includes interviews with Bates’ first women’s doubles pair to compete at NCAAs, senior Meg Anderson (Cohasset, Mass.) and first-year Elena Mandzhukova (Lisbon, Portugal), as well as head coach Paul Gastonguay. Footage is also shown of the Bates men’s doubles team also headed to NCAAs, juniors Matt Bettles (Taunton, England) and Rob Crampton (Wilton, Conn.).
