Five women’s lax players named to national honor roll
LEWISTON, Maine — Five members of the 2012 Bates women’s lacrosse team received Academic Honor Roll distinction from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association this week.
Margaret Reilly ’12, Caroline Pierce ’12, Jenna Dannis ’12, Linnea Fulton ’13 and Jenn Brallier ’13 were among the 246 Division III student-athletes honored by the IWLCA from 94 different institutions with inclusion in the 2012 Academic Honor Roll. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically. The same five women earlier this year earned NESCAC Spring 2012 All-Academic honors, for juniors and seniors carrying a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or better.
Bates was one of 61 Division III teams cited as a 2012 IWLCA Academic Squad, for having a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
