Men’s hoops beats Emerson for Bates Tipoff title

The Bates men’s basketball team erased an early deficit of as many as 10 points with a 16-0 run in the first half, and outscored Emerson College 34-25 in the second half for a 66-53 victory in the championship game of the Bates Tipoff Tournament on Saturday.
