The No. 14 nationally ranked Bates men’s squash team had little trouble in defeating NESCAC rival Amherst College on Tuesday night at the Bates Squash Center, putting down the No. 23 Lord Jeffs by a 9-0 score and allowing the visitors only two games won.

Matarazzo, men’s hoops rally past Colby, 67-57

Bates junior Luke Matarazzo scored 20 of his 27 points in the second half to vault the Bobcats to a 67-57 win over Colby in the teams’ annual non-conference matchup on Saturday. Colby led by as many as 16 points in the first half, but Bates outscored the Mules 46-21 in the second half.
