The 2013 Wellness incentive will focus goal setting, taking action and utilizing the plentiful Health Coaching resources available to employees. During the month of January, employees can earn incentives if they set a personal wellness goal (this alone will earn a salad bar discount sticker or socks) and then follow through with that goal by participating in Health Coaching (this will earn the chance to win gift cards throughout the year). Here are the steps:
Take the Pledge: During the month of January, participants will be encouraged to choose a personal wellness goal that is meaningful to them. Examples may include exercising 4 days per week, eating 5 servings of vegetables per day, losing 5 pounds, or quitting tobacco.
Choose a Track: Once a goal has been created, you will then choose a track that fits with your goal. The following are the tracks to choose from: Weight Management / Nutrition, Tobacco Cessation, Get Active, Know Your Numbers, or Other.
Take Action with Health Coaching: The next step is to take action towards accomplishing your goal. This may mean seeking out individual or group health coaching, Participating in B Well fitness classes, Journaling or taking an online Health Risk Assessment.

Endurance (Zumba, Water Zumba, Couch to 5K)
